Niagara, Malmö

Niagara in Malmö is a building that is home to the cultural, social and technological faculties and also houses the university’s central administration. With a floor area of 25,000 m², it is the university’s second largest building, accommodating around 4,500 students and 500 employees for the 2015 autumn term. To make the premises/environment more accessible, the ground around Niagara has been fitted with Matting Tactile Guidance Systems in stainless steel linking the building’s three entrances. The guidance systems continue into the atrium where they join together to form a main walkway which then branches off to key functions such as lifts and reception. The three entrances have entrance mats and scraper grids from Matting.
